Scream Jam 2025
It was a great experience to teach myself more about Unreal Engine. In particular, I became much more familiar with State Trees.
The main idea behind our game was to capture the feeling of Resident Evil 1, Silent Hill, and the classic PSX era. I’m really happy with how it turned out — thanks to the amazing team!

My Contributions
It was the first time using sub levels in Unreal Engine, which was a great learning experience. Also, I took this opportunity to learn more about State Trees for AI behaviors. Managing state transitions and debugging them was a challenge at first, but I got the hang of it eventually. Timelines were also new to me, and I used them to create a level transition effect similar to Resident Evil 1.
Programming
- Implemented core gameplay mechanics such as fixed camera, interaction with objects and camera flash.
- Improved Game Logic and flow so player can progress with proper feedback from the game.
- Developed AI simple behaviors using State Trees.
- Developed an Resident Evil 1 style level transition.
Project Management
- Managing Version control using Perforce.
- Coordinating tasks using a project board in ClickUp.
